Foundations - Starting Sun June 22nd

Foundations 101 is a class designed for newcomers to our church. This 6 week class is a Bible study that answers questions about the direction and purpose of our church. New Men’s Sunday Night Bible Study - Starts Sun June 22nd

All men are invited to a new video Bible study from John Maxwell. The study is an 8 week series, entitled “Developing the Leader in You” and begins Sunday, June 22 at 5:30 pm, room 217.

Wild “Wets”days are Coming! - June 25 - Aug 6

Hey parents, do you want something fun and educational for your Elementary kids to do this summer other than watching TV? If so, sign your kids up today for some or all events of the Kid’s Day-out program this summer called Wild “Wets”days. Every Wednesday starting June 25 until Aug. 6, your elementary school kids will get to see 7 different sites while learning more about the Wonders of God. Please see the Cosmic City space station for more details and to sign up your kids.

B.E.A.C.H. Tide-Y Days - Sat June 28

Are you a person who would like to help our Children’s Ministry as long as you don’t have to teach? If so, we can use your help! Come to the church on Saturday, June 28, from 8 am - 11 am and help us “Tide-Y” up our classrooms for the health and safety of our kids. If you can join us for a fun day of cleaning and organizing classrooms, please sign up at “Home Base” today.

Sink or Swim Pool Party - Sat July 12th

Preschoolers and their parents are invited to a “Sink-or-Swim” pool party at the Chris Lyle Aquatic Center in St. Cloud on Saturday, July 12, 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm. Cost is $3/person. Sign up at the Children’s Ministry table, or see Erik if you have questions.

Men’s Breakfast - Sat July 12th

Men, it’s time again for breakfast and fellowship! On Saturday, July 12 at 8 am meet at the Cracker Barrel in Hunter’s Creek (13300 S. Orange Blossom Trail). Bring money for breakfast and be sure to sign up at Home Base if you plan to attend

Saturday Foundations This Summer

If you are new to our church, the next Foundations class will begin Saturday, June 7 at 6:45 pm in room 124. This 6 week class will involve a Bible study on the purpose of the church. Please sign up at Home Base to attend the class.

Saturday Café

We would like to extend the Saturday Café into the summer months (June-August). If you would like to help prepare the light meal 3-4 times during the summer months please see Mary Pepper or call her at 407- 846-6779.

Puppet Ministry Calling all puppeteers!

The Children’s Ministry is looking for willing individuals to launch a new ministry to preschoolers! Only those seriously willing to commit long term to this ministry should see Erik or Danielle for more details.

Engage

Engage is a summer event series for middle and high schoolers. It’s designed specifically to engage students in a deeper commitment to Christ through moving worship, relevant media, in-depth discussion and special events. This summer, don’t take a vacation from this incredible new series. See the Youth Display for more information.

Singles Group

Meets every Wednesday at the church at 7:00PM and once a month there are monthly activities planned for everyone. Starting April 9th we will be studying from Bill Hybels book on “Character” Who You Are When No One’s Looking.

Christ In Youth - Reminders - Sat July 12th

CIY is coming soon! Here are a few important details concerning the trip. First, final payment and release form are due to Sam Pepper or Will Click immediately. Second, all sponsors and teens going to CIY this summer must attend the Saturday night worship service (July 12) since we are leaving at 7:30 am the next morning. Third, after Saturday night church (July 12) we will load main luggage into the trailer (please, one suitcase per person). Feel free to keep a small bag and pillow with you on the bus.

Daily Meal Servers Needed

Volunteers are needed to serve a hot meal to the homeless at the Osceola Christian Ministry Center (700 Union Street, Kissimmee, program called “Daily Meal”). Servers are needed from 9:00am to 12:30pm, the 4th Monday of each month. Contact Lisa Seymour at 407.857.8104 if you can help or have questions.
